How frequently do you learn new things at your current job at Virtuos?

Constantly! I am confronted to new situations on a regular basis due to the diversity of tasks and projects that I undertake or manage, as well as the unique nature of game production which involves a wide range of knowledge and techniques. Every project keeps me constantly learning. On top of that, when I work on something that I actually already know, I always strive to find out a better solution and improve the outcome. Let me give you an example: my first task at Virtuos was on a DS project. I had never programmed on this console before. Therefore, not only did I gain knowledge of an additional platform, but also as the project went on, I had more thorough understanding and practice about this application.

Does your work give you a sense of personal accomplishment?

Yes. I am always pleased to be part of a team, successfully complete a high quality project together and get acknowledged by our clients. Also, I created some application tools for my team, and saw they were adapted well and appreciated by my team members… I felt flattered!

What do you enjoy in your work at Virtuos?

I like the atmosphere of harmony within the company. People here are friendly, warm and always keep a good relationship to one another. I can easily get on with others and I don’t feel any stress at all. Furthermore, most of our clients are top-ranked game companies. By working with them, I keep myself updated on the latest technologies and different game styles, in addition to discovering various working cultures.
