What was your favorite project at Virtuos?

Ni:
I led a team to produce highly realistic 3D cars for a well-known top racing game franchise. I was given an intensive two weeks training directly at our client’s studio abroad to study advanced techniques in modeling, texture and integration. By learning to use some of the latest cutting edge tools, methods and systems throughout this training, I enhanced my understanding of Next-Gen game production as a whole. It also gave me great benefits for my own professional improvement. Gu:
We fully developed a game based on a major Hollywood movie for one of our clients. I worked on this project from scratch till end, thus getting great insights on the whole process of producing a full game. I acquired new knowledge whilst also applying my own experience into this title. Along with the progress of the project, I got more actively involved and took more responsibilities. Liu:
We fully developed a hand-held game based on a major Hollywood movie for one of our clients who was developing the Next-Gen version in-house. I was the producer and it has been the most challenging project I have worked on so far in my career as a game professional. The time frame was tight and as it was a movie tie-in, so the release of the game on all platforms could not suffer any delay. I was very proud to be part of this full-size project and I felt my contribution was as important as the movie stars themselves!
