Shanghai, China, June 11, 2010 – Today Virtuos was named as one of the Top 100 Fastest-Growing Service Outsourcing Enterprises in China, an award recognizing service excellence and outstanding growth among China’s outsource service providers.
The award is given by the China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP), and world-renowned research and consulting institutions Gartner, IDC and TPI. These organizations together selected China’s top 100 growing service providers in China based on criteria including enterprises’ earnings from outsourcing business, per capita income from outsourcing business, growth potential, and staff size.
“It is an honor to be recognized by these world-renowned organizations,” said Virtuos CEO Gilles Langourieux. “This award is a great indication of Virtuos’ success, and of the advancement made by the digital entertainment production industry in China.”
The award came just as Virtuos reached the 600-employee milestone. Virtuos has previously received several certificates and awards by China trade organizations in recognition of the Virtuos importance to the China’s software industry.
The award was given to Virtuos following a ceremony in Nanjing, China. The China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP) is a national non-profit organization responsible for promoting China’s inward and outward investment in line with China’s economic strategies, with a view to advancing economic development and social progress.
