Shanghai, November 16th, 2006. Virtuos, one of the world’s largest outsourced services provider in the games industry, announced today that it has opened its North American headquarters in Los Angeles.

The office will be managed by Brian Moore, General Manager for North America. Prior to joining Virtuos, Brian has worked 15 years in the industry. His previous position was Art Director at Electronic Arts where he supervised the Madden06 Franchise and the Next Gen Sports franchise of NCAA07, which won Best Sports title of E306 from 1up.com

Virtuos LA will be focused on facilitating communication with clients and maintaining Virtuos on the edge of game development techniques by monitoring and sharing best practices. “In recent years, I have seen first-hand how outsourcing can help a studio create more content for high-quality titles and how it has become a must-have for any next-generation development.
