3D Art

 

Virtuos' largest team is specialized in 3D art production. Our artists have all received formal art training in leading Art institutions, complemented by training and professional experience on 2D and 3D software tools. They are all full-time employees at Virtuos. No work is sub-contracted to freelance artists nor any kind of external contractor

We are able to produce :

- In-game 3D models of characters, props, buildings, environments, vehicles, etc.
- Texture creation
- Level Design
- 3D animation
- Character animation
- User interface Repurposing or optimization of existing assets for conversions.
- Virtuos can also be leveraged to carry-out time-consuming projects like location- research work to gather reference material, measures, photos for realistic environment models.

Art production does not start until an Art Director has made sure that we have gathered the appropriate reference material and the team has understood the style and technical constraints. We then rely on a couple of short iterations of Q&A to ensure that we quickly get in line with our client’s vision. Throughout the production, our online project management system provides real-time information on progress and the ability to view deliverables and exchange feedback immediately. Before delivery, checks are performed at 4 levels (artist, Team Leader, Art Director, Art Producer) to verify that Art guidelines and all technical constraints have been fulfilled on all assets. For larger projects involving a full production pipeline, in-game testing will also be carried-out.
