Chen Yu is a seasoned games programmer as well as an expert in agile development methods. Before joining Virtuos, he was the Programming Director of Lucky Kingdom Tec ltd., Beijing, where his methods allowed his team to deliver the MMORPG game, Apocalypse, in record time. Chen Yu is also a co-founder of Mammoth Entertainment, Tianjin which specialized in game development for the Korean and China markets. His team developed a number of offline and online titles on PC and mobile platforms. He started his career in gaming at Ubisoft Shanghai, where he was an AI and physics specialist, working on titles like F1 Racing on PC and PS2.

Chen Yu graduated in Computer Science from Beijing University, China's top University; he also holds a diploma in English interpretation from Bejing University, China's top University; he also holds a diploma in English interpretation from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
