Since 2004, Virtuos has been striving for excellence, helping its clients leverage outsourcing to generate the extra flexibility their projects require. Its track record is no short of achievements. Virtuos has worked for 15 of the top 20 game companies worldwide on large AAA, New-Gen projects in addition to shipping 8 full games on time and budget. With over 450 staff, Virtuos has become the largest and most recognized outsourcing studio in China.
Virtuos is managed by a multicultural team of gaming professionals, which is probably the most experienced independent team in China today. The founding members had worked together in the past to establish Ubisoft as the N°1 studios in China. They have since accumulated experience by working with some of the top names in the Industry and collaborating to a large spectrum of projects and attracted additional experienced managers from top game companies worldwide.
With AAA titles under their belt on virtually all platforms, Virtuos Managers speak the same language as their clients. They master the processes, the tools and they have the state of mind required to deliver quality, reliability and security.
Backing-up our team is a network of international gaming professionals in the US and Europe. They allow us to benchmark our practices and provide management expertise as well as technical training to our local team. For large projects, they can provide onshore points of contacts to our client.

- January 05: Virtuos signs first contract
- July 05: Virtuos opens its European office in Paris : Gamesource
- March 06: 'Street Riders' published on PSP by Ubisoft
- June 06: Virtuos receives investment from Legend Capital
- October 06: 'Asphalt2' published on DS by Gameloft
- November 06: Virtuos becomes a licensed Xbox 360 developer.
- November 06: Virtuos opens its North-American office in Los Angeles.
- March 07: Virtuos becomes a licensed Wii developer
- April 07: 'Asphalt2' published on PSP by Gameloft
- December 07: 'Beowulf' PSP published : first major Hollywood movie based game made in China
- January 08: Virtuos opens in Chengdu
- May 08: 'Speed Racer' published on Nintendo DS by Warner Brothers Interactive: second major Hollywood movie based game made in China
