EA, MICROSOFT, SQUARE-ENIX VETERANS JOIN VIRTUOS TO STRENGTHEN VIRTUOS SHANGHAI STUDIO

Shanghai, China – June 20, 2015 – Virtuos has added three new Directors to its Management team: industry veterans Duncan Kershaw, Nassim Ait-Kaci and Jonathan Boldiga.

Duncan joins Virtuos as Group Development Director. In his new role, Duncan will directly manage the Game division in Shanghai and Chengdu studios, overseeing production on console and mobile platforms.  Previously holding Director of Product Development and Executive Producer positions at EA, THQ & Square Enix, Duncan brings more than 25 years of videogame production experience. Some of his credits include Madden NFL, Sleeping Dogs, Harry Potter & FIFA PLS.

Nassim joins Virtuos’ Shanghai studio as Audio Director. Nassim is an 11 year game audio professional, shipping 18 AAA titles across multiple platforms and genres including Microsoft’s Holo Lens, Deadspace 2, Red Dead Redemption, and more. Nassim’s work got nominated for one BAFTA and two GANG awards.

Jonathan joins Virtuos as Technical Director and comes to us with more than 10 years’ experience in programming for games. His career has taken him to many established companies in North America, most recently at Warner Bros where he was Technical Producer. Johnathan is an expert on Unreal technology and sits on the Technical Advisory Board for Epic.
