Virtuos awarded third major Chinese technology industry recognition

Shanghai, China, July 15, 2009 – Virtuos has been recognized by the Xujiahui Science & Technical Committee as a top technical company in Shanghai’s Xujiahui district. 

Virtuos was awarded the Technical Giant Enterprise certification in recognition of its commitment to promoting development of the technology sector in Xujiahui. Additionally, the Committee awarded Virtuos the title of Key Supported Enterprise, reaffirming local support for Virtuos.  The Xujiahui Science & Technical Committee is a major supporter of video game development in Shanghai, and has previously made presentations at GDC China 2009.

This is the third time such awards have been granted to Virtuos by leading technology industry organizations. In November 2008, Virtuos was awarded the High-Tech Enterprise Certificate  by Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Municipal Financial Bureau, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of State Taxation and Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Local Taxation. In July 2006, Virtuos was awarded a Software Enterprise certificate by the Shanghai Municipal Informatization Commission, indicating its importance to the software industry in Shanghai.
