Virtuos opens office in Paris, working on PSP

Virtuos has partnered with French game developer Gamesource to open an office in Europe. Under the terms of the agreement, Gamesource provides facilities and technical expertise to Virtuos which is represented in Europe by Gamesource CEO, Christophe Gandon.

This agreement allows Virtuos to extend its offshore-onshore development model, by being able to rely on a team of console game development experts based in Europe. Gamesource and Virtuos have collaborated since early 2005 by porting the car-racing game engine of Gamesource sister company Babylon to the PSP. Both companies are now working together on a PSP car-racing action title slated for release in Q106.
