As part of our global Green IT Classroom initiative, our volunteers from Sparx* presented 10 refurbished computers to the students and conducted a Microsoft Paint class for them.

At Sparx* -A Virtuos Studio, we strongly believe in the importance of education, environment, and diversity, which are the core values of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda at Virtuos.

Green IT Classroom, an ongoing initiative started by Virtuos in 2019, aims to create long-term impact in local communities by fostering digital inclusion for local students and maintaining sustainability by donating old usable devices.

On 25 March, Sparx* paid a visit to La San Tan Hung Charity Elementary School and donated 10 refurbished computers to the school, as part of our goal to provide learning opportunities for the communities around us

A quick Microsoft Paint class for the students to get used to using computers

Besides presenting the refurbished computers to the students, our volunteers also organized a series of fun activities to bond with them and familiarized them with the computers through a hands-on Microsoft Paint class. The students were filled with excitement throughout the event and had a great time playing and learning new things from our Sparxers.

We hope that our modest gesture of support can make a positive impact on the young students at La San Tan Hung Charity Elementary School, with better access to digital resources. Moving forward, we aim to create more awareness about environmental sustainability and partner with relevant stakeholders to give back to the local community.
