Education is one of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) priorities at Virtuos, and we believe in providing learning opportunities for the communities around us. Earlier this year, Virtuos Singapore partnered with Code in the Community, a local organization that offers free coding and digital literacy classes for children aged eight to 16 from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our volunteers from the Research and Development (R&D) team conducted a total of four sessions teaching students from Yishun Secondary School how to code using Python. During the four-session program, our volunteers taught the students foundational Python concepts including syntax, variables, and functions.

Digital literacy is a fundamental skill today, and through this program, we hope that the students will be able to cultivate an interest in coding and help foster the next generation of digital talent in Singapore.

Big thanks to Code in the Community for the great partnership! We look forward to creating more learning opportunities and giving back to our local community.
