Education, Environment, and Diversity are core values that are part of Virtuos’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda, embraced by our studios and Virtuosi across the world.

Green IT Classroom, an ongoing initiative started by Virtuos in 2019, aims to create long-term impact in local communities by fostering digital inclusion for local students and maintaining sustainability by donating old usable devices.

On 26 September, as part of our goal to provide learning opportunities for the communities around us, volunteers from Virtuos Shanghai visited Tangwan Migrant School in Wujing, Minhang District to conduct art lessons for young students.

This time, Virtuos Shanghai volunteers shared their knowledge on both handicraft painting and digital painting with the students. The lessons were themed “Earth’s Resources” and “Environmental Protection” to educate them on environmental sustainability. Students were also given newspapers, magazines, and bottle caps to help them create their eco-friendly artwork.

The best art pieces will be awarded prizes by charity organization Net Spring, our partner for the Green IT Classroom Program, at an awards ceremony. Their creations will be featured at an art exhibition held in conjunction with other Net Spring-sponsored schools at Shanghai Jingan District Youth and Children’s Library from 27 October to 20 November.

Through Virtuos’ volunteering efforts, we hope to create more awareness about sustainability and the environment among local groups. We will continue to support efforts to provide students with better access to resources and grant them greater educational opportunities in future.
